We have had cases where visitors who drank tap water experienced stomach aches and had to see a doctor. However, it is safe to use tap water for activities like brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
During your stay in Cusco, you will likely be at a hotel, Airbnb, or a friend’s house, where you will have access to warm or hot water, which is safe to drink.
